Donald tRump gets nightmare news as Democrats on the House Oversight committee announce an investigation into his blatant extortion of nearly $1 billion in pro bono work from top law firms.

“America’s promise of equal justice under law will perish if the legal profession allows itself to be coerced into denying representation to the people who need it most,” wrote Representatives Gerry Connolly and Dave Min in letters demanding documents and information from law firms that Trump went after.
The announcement comes after Trump used the Oval Office to target law firms with ties to the Democratic Party and his political enemies. To avoid his wrath, the firms agreed to provide Trump and his cronies with millions of dollars worth of free legal work.
Connelly and Min stated that the requested documents and information will aid their investigation into Trump’s “practice of targeting” firms and people on his own “personal or political grievance.”
This probe should be celebrated by every American who supports the rule of law. Trump is engaged in blatant, public corruption and must be held accountable.
