You may be right as we really do not hear ourselves when we are talking as others do..

Its interesting to know that I do have a bit of Cincinnatitis vocal dialect... I had not been told that before..

I immediately picked up on the fact that you sound like Tom Bodett (of Motel 6 fame. "We'll keep the light on for you"). Tom was born in Champaign and raised in Sturgis. Each is just 250 miles from Cincinnati. Of course, I don't know where YOU were born and raised... but I think you have the same "nasally twang" as Tom.

Or you might have just had a cold.
