Marines aren't all as dumb as bricks as many media places have portrayed. Iffen ya wuz in a severe dire need and facing starvation I reckon someone would try to stick one of them squirmy things in their mouth..

Not me.. I have higher scruples.. I suspect my senior bro might have as well but being a red neck I cannot be definitive about that. Ribit's tastes are apparently not as stringent as mine.

As I say to my friends below the Mason-Dixon line, if ya like some of those "interesting" non normal sources of sustenance go ahead.
What YOU eat is up to you..

Jes keep in mind that I fer sure wouldn't touch that stuff with YOUR lips.. Give it to Ribit. He eats anything... Laughing

I'm kinda a picky jarhaid..

Strange . . .
I thought that the Marines taught their guys that in an emergency situation Maggots was edible and high in protein.

Cooked maggots are high in protein, offering an alternative source for those seeking animal-based nutrition. On average, 100 grams of cooked maggots can provide around 25 grams of protein, which is comparable to conventional meats like chicken or beef.
