Zim, Conflating Russia with the USSR, is very much akin to conflating modern Germany with Nazi Germany, or the US government with the Confederate government in 1865. There was a violent revolution in Russia under Lenin (aided and abetted by Germany during WWI). Only a relative handful of people in Russia had any say in the matter. There was another PEACEFUL revolution in the USS in 1989, chosen by both the leadership and the clear majority of the Russian people.

"With all you are getting get understanding." -Forbes

And, FWIW, I am trying to promote constructive (solution oriented) ideas. Maybe update your world-view, and friends vs enemies list, to reflect changes in the realpolitiks in the last 50 years and work toward solutions?

Fiz > Right now my biggest concern is how to blunt the impact of global "de-dollarization" and end of "globalism"/One-World-Government.

Fiz, We already have 'digital currency'. All those 'cards' everybody is using in the stores. Denominated in U.S. Dollars and used as legal currency. And I don't see how an 'American BitCoin' is going to change the metrics of de-dollarization. Properly applied tariffs. Bring manufacturing back to America. Make America pretty much self sufficient and not relying on imports should make de-dollarization irrelevant to America.

Fiz > But paper and "trust in government" doesn't work; never worked.

And yet, here you are advocating the government create and control 'U.S. BitCoin' . . .

Fiz > I always knew that Russia had no more pretensions of ruling the planet (because I've been there).

Strange. If Russia 'has no pretensions' of 'ruling the planet' . . . Then why the Cold War? Why did Russia take a little bite out of a country named 'Georgia'? Why did Russia take a big bite out of Ukraine in 2014, then try to eat all of Ukraine starting in 2022?

And, yes, I see China as a much bigger problem.
Zim.
