I am not the one who treats it as a technical manual. I have said many times that it is a book of parables that cannot be taken literally. Those who claim to take it literally are not reading it critically because the Old Testament contains technical flaws that you could steer an ark through. I see that you agree, though you aren't saying it very clearly.

I'm no Bible reader. I've probably read less of the New Testament than the Old... But the Old Testament is a mess that prevents me from giving the New a go. (And that's something since I've read the Koran.. or Qur'an or Quran. But I had a reason to read it and I was VERY critical.)

If you want to treat the Bible as some sort of technical manual, then you've missed the point. But, go ahead ... knock yourself out ... you'll just find it as frustrating, tomorrow, as you do, today.

All my best,

B.
