His problem was he loved to tailgate and he always forgot how to get back home.

...I never tailgate. Mz ribit does cause she is afraid she might be a carlength late for something. As far as getting back home I got this GPS thingy that will get me back home from anywhere except for the one time that mz ribit changed the HOME address on it.

That was my mother. She thought she could drive but she was a menace on the road. She thought ya was supposed to play bumper cars with the other vehicles.

I took the keys away and hid them.. Same for my dad a tad later. His problem was he loved to tailgate and he always forgot how to get back home.

It was sad and yet a sound decision at the same time.

How do ya tell someone their days of driving are over?

That's tough.. Even tougher was telling him I was selling his house. He could not live alone after mother passed and so that was the ending.

Now then, My dad was 89 when I moved him from his house.

Ribs, ya got a long way to go my friend. And NONE of the remaining years are going to be as fun as the ones we had in that South seas paradise full of people who wanted to kill us..

Stay Marine tough.. Semper Fi brother.
