I think it more than 22%.

We spend most of our money on

Housing,Food,Gasoline and Travel.

Rent/mortgage has gone up more than 50%

Food has gone up more like 30-50%.

Gas has gone up about 50%

And travel has more than doubled. Between Gas and motel rooms. Motels use to be $50-$60, now they’re well over $100-$150.

Retired folks on fixed incomes got crushed over the last 4 years - the average price of the things purchased by retirees in America rose 22% while fixed-income assets got obliterated, enduring the worst three-and-a-half-year run in at least a century...
