So if I'm a Trump supporter who has a clue about numbers, I'm panicking right now. It's looking like the Dems will win 6 of the 7 swing states, 5 of them easily, with only 1 state a toss-up.

That's with around a third of the total vote already done. And the numbers are very stable in terms of women being far more energised. This against the backdrop of the Republicans encouraging their voters to vote early as well.

The GOP needs to have a miraculous last week and election day to win from here. But they are far outmatched by Dems in their ground game. Kamala raised a billion dollars from millions of supporters, has hundreds of thousands of volunters, is seeing far larger crowds which stay for her speeches and cheer her to the rafters. Trump's support is pathetic by comparison. I expect no GOP miracle. It's looking like a wave of women voters are going to save American democracy and the rule of law from daft American men.

SCOTUS has inadvertently mobilised an army of women through its tin-eared Dobbs decision.

"via Jim Kessler - 12.8 million have voted early in the 7 swing states. 1,286,048 more women have voted than men, 55.1-44.9%. The gender gap grew by 80,964 from Monday. Gender turnout gap is F+13%-pts in PA, F+12 in MI and GA, F+11 in NC, F+8 in WI, F+4 in AZ, F+0 in NV. Good for Harris."
