A friend of mine had a knee replacement last month. His wife texted us at 9:00 AM that day saying they were getting him ready for the surgery. At 2:30 she texted and said they were getting ready to go home.
We were over to see him couple days after. This was day five after surgery. He was walking around on his own without the walker or cane. Had very little pain. Just in the evening after being up all day. He was having physical therapy every day for 30 minutes. He said he’ll be back playing golf in September.
I was amazed at how well it went. My father had one 30 years ago. It took him 6 weeks to recover.
