I think the presidential immunity ruling was the worst in SCOTUS' history.

It was so easy to avoid, since the Appeals Court had provided an entirely correct opinion. And it was easy to rule on correctly themselves: yes, the president is subject to the law. Period.

But they chose to f--- up one of the twin pillars of the constitution rather than let a corrupt Republican face the consequences of his illegal behaviour.

No rule of law means a pathway to autocracy. It's as simple as that. What absolute fools they are.
