I think the presidential immunity ruling was the worst in SCOTUS' history.

It was so easy to avoid, since the Appeals Court had provided an entirely correct opinion. And it was easy to rule on correctly themselves: yes, the president is subject to the law. Period.

But they chose to f--- up one of the twin pillars of the constitution rather than let a corrupt Republican face the consequences of his illegal behaviour.

No rule of law means a pathway to autocracy. It's as simple as that. What absolute fools they are.

Finally!!!

I hope he gets it right.

I'm more in favour of a pool of, say, 27 justices and random selections for individual cases than term limits.

Limit numbers from a particular religion. Catholics always impose their ideas on everyone (eg abortion) so this is how to reduce their influence.

They really should have a few specialists in there for certain sorts of issues.

I do think they should have age limits.

Enforceable ethics code, obviously. They've brought it on themselves with their arrogance.

Reversal of the dumb rule-of-law ruling, clearly.
