And worse, the damage is already done.

An American dictator, if one gets in, can now dictate.

In spite of American mythology, kings cannot do so, at least English kings - theoretically not after Magna Carta, definitely not after the execution of one of them who thought he was not subject to the law.

Poor old George III, so often accused by Americans as having absolute power, had no such authority. Yall rebelled against a parliamentary democracy, not a king invested with the powers imagined by Jefferson's propaganda. And now SCOTUS have made space for exactly the kind of ruler Jefferson imagined.

I agree, SCOTUS did a power grab.

Several don't even deserve to be on the court, McConnell to blame!

It's a horror!
