Even if she does that, which I expect she will, Trump will appeal.

What she will do is hold a hearing, at that time evidence will be made public, witnesses will be called, Pence, and the public will learn more, BEFORE the election.

The case won't be tried before. Unfortunately.
I believe she offered 90 days before going to trial.

I'd renarrow the case.

This court will not provide a broad definition of presidential immunity. It will address the case in front of us. Is fomenting a coup beyond the scope of presidential immunity? Yes. Is it a core power of the president? No.

So now let's get on with trying the accused. Let's let the jury decide if the former president fomented a coup.
