Yes, both of those governors are good choices.

I think Newsome would be better at taking Trump on.

He could keep Kamala as VP, thus not offending minorities & women. She has grown & can do the job.

I like much of what I've seen of Kamala, but I haven't seen much.

No to HRC. The best chance is to pass the torch to a new generation and frame the narrative as turning the page. Trump will be the old guy.

A younger Dem candidate doesn't need to be brilliant. Just sensible, experienced in state government and about 20-30 years younger than Trump.

Perhaps the governor of Michigan or of California.
