Any election between general elections always goes badly for the UK overnment, so I don't think it will be different this time.

But I think we'll see a transfer of power to Labour at the general election. It's a shame because they are too far to the left for me. More the Bernie end of the Dems than Biden if you are looking at a US equivalent.
