I've been in a few earthquakes. They can be very different. Some are a bit like tornadoes, following a narrow path. Some are like hurricanes, rattling everything across a broad area. So it may be that it didn't really affect your area. But 4.7 is a decent sized earthquake. Quite scary if you are in its grasp. But not so terrifying that you think your house will fall into a hole.

Yes, it was a big deal. My daughter & sister & friends felt it.

I didn't yet I live between them, say 3 miles on either side.

I was distracted on the phone.
