Hopefully carries over, but general elections are about many things, not one issue.

The big question is, will it push the needle among swing voters and will it persuade younger potential voters actually to vote. Because they are the ones affected.

If they vote, the Dems will win. And Dems have a lot of money behind getting voters to cast ballots in one way or another.
