Yep.

And I imagine the other members of the Five Eyes will not share their pieces of such information with the US while he has access to it. For instance, where the UK has knowledge about Putin and the Ukraine war, we can't possibly share that with the US, because Trump will certainly tell Putin.

It does real damage that such a candidate is in place.

The US must change its rules about informing candidates about sensitive national security information to exclude those on trial for stealing such information.

OMG, the thought makes me sick.

It’s Nuts That Trump Will Soon Have Classified National Security Intelligence Briefings Again

UPSIDE-DOWN WORLD

When he clinches the GOP nomination, the ex-president—currently under indictment for taking, hiding, and refusing to return classified docs—will have access to similar info again.

When Trump becomes the Republican nominee for president, he’ll be entitled once again to receive national security briefings.

In a normal world, this wouldn’t happen. No responsible party would nominate for president a person who had disclosed classified information in the past, is under credible suspicion of having stolen and concealed classified information in the present, and who is under immense pressure to sell classified information in the future.

But here we are. Isn’t anyone else nervous about this?
