It's the guys who organised the riot that you want put in jail, and the ones who actually injured people.

I don't see much reason to pursue anyone else.

It's just stunning that Trump hasn't been charged yet. The incitement was utterly obvious. Everyone knew what Trump was attempting before the riot and then the riot happened as he incited it. He even made sure the number of police was inadequate before the event.

I think the delay in charging him is because the DOJ is kicking the can down the road, not that the sheer volume prevents it. Either that, or the Trump rot is widespread within the FBI.

The Jan. 6 investigation is the biggest in U.S. history. It’s only half done.

To date, roughly 1,000 people have been charged for their alleged roles in the events of that day. The total could grow above 2,000, and a federal courthouse strains to handle what may be years more of trials.
