The storm is still going full force. We stuck a ruler into the deck table snow and measured 7 inches. Six hours ago I thought it looked like 6 inches, so I was either off or the snow slowed down during the night.
We woke to a power outage. In fact, the lights flickered again five seconds ago which is worrisome. The earlier outage was the first time we've been without power during the winter. They estimated that it wouldn't return until 10:30 AM, but here it is 8:45 AM and everything is good. That's a first - power restored sooner than expected! Usually, if they say two hours it turns into five. They must have taken this outage more seriously. We checked and saw it extended to Lebanon, 40 miles away.
There's plenty of storm remaining. The snow is now predicted to continue until 5:30 PM, so the possibility of losing power again does exist. It isn't windy though. That's the one big thing that plays in our favor.
