In all of Florida it is 3.92 per 1000”Take the cities out of the equation and Florida's violent crime rate would likely fall below 1.0.

A few months ago, my little town had a murder/suicide. A guy killed his wife and himself. Neighbors found the kids sitting outside for who-knows-how-long. Something like that only happens once or twice per year in the STATE, so it was quite a shock for a town of under 2,000. But New Hampshire is a remarkably peaceful place, most of the time. If there's any violence, it's likely to involve a raccoon and a trashcan.
