Or we could become a Union of States that had extremely limited Federal powers?
Maybe create a document that in clear common English spelled out the federal powers. And let each of the states create their own laws and regulations. The state would be completing with each other. Incubators of ideas…. blah, blah, blah.

Of course doing any of this would result in lots of bloodshed, which might be a positive thing.

Re: “I think it would be great for America if we defunded public education. Seems that most of America’s problems trace back to government schools.”
That would be a drastic change but I agree. It would be great for America.

Today, while talking to my wife, I said something even more drastic. Namely, that even though it would be extremely difficult for us, I would support the dissolution of the United States. It would probably turn into two countries, the liberal US and the conservative US, and New Hampshire would certainly join the liberals. We would find that untenable and have to relocate, probably losing our shirts in the forced sale of our land.

Still, I think that it would be in our best interest. I've come to despise our government and a big portion of its people.
