Re: “I haven't seen snowflakes this large in quite awhile.”
I wouldn't say it's written in stone, but large flakes usually mean warmer temperatures. We get them at 38° - 39°. If it hits 40° it becomes rain.

For a long time, I'd have told you that I'd never seen snow above 39°. But last Spring, it snowed very briefly when the temperature was 45°. As with hail, what matters most is the temperature at higher altitudes and, I think, the existence of downward winds.
Re: “I wonder if it will move east into Buffalo in time for today's ere-match between the Beefalos and the Bungles.” I don't know about Buffalo (7 hours away by car) but the storm is coming my way: 5" - 8" beginning at 7 PM. For us, that's not huge. It will be about the same as what I just cleaned up yesterday.

Gold is $1,581/oz today. When it hits $2,000, it will be up 26.5%. Let's see how long that takes. - De 3/11/2013 - ANSWER: 7 Years, 5 Months

I haven't seen snowflakes this large in quite awhile. At least a few years.. It started around 6:00 a.m. this morning with just some very small flakes and after a couple hours it evolved into a major event.

I have several inches of the stuff on my cars, in my yard, and it's really coming down in large flakes and lots of them.

Hope it stops sometime soon and that the public servants get the road chemicals down and get plowing and treating this mess on the roads. I need clean roadsurface tomorrow morning.. lol!!!

I have to go to Cleveland tomorrow for my first out of town trip since my heart surgery.

I don't need any additional stress but I have five meetings scheduled up there and two in the Columbus area.

I don't mind driving on wet pavement but I find the more I get closer to Ribit's ancient days the more I dislike driving in a snowstorm or ice..

A few of these meetings are very important so I really am hoping this stuuff moves on sometime soon. Like east..

I'd post a picture of the white scenery but I am too lazy to go to the trouble and do editing.

This is very unexpected.. Even the weather guessers on four different stations missed this...

I wonder if it will move east into Buffalo in time for today's ere-match between the Beefalos and the Bungles.

If Damar hadn't gotten seriously injured it sure looked like Burrow and company were having their way on offense and the defense had stuffed Buffalo.

They got away without a loss.. Now we have to play at their stadium. It's a little irksome but it is what it is..

I just looked out my office window again at the snow coming down and it hasn't slowed up any.

I think Ribit sent those moisture filled clouds up here from down there so when they hit this colder air we would have this mess. Pretty sure it's his fault...

Have a blessed day everyone.. Obviously I did not get out today but Dr. Tony Evans was very good this morning..

C y'all later...
