So, over the last few days, Poland has threatened to ignore its Leopard contract and provide Ukraine with some from its stock, and Germany has done a U-turn on making the export of Leopards to Ukraine conditional on the US providing its Abrams to them.
Things are in motion.
I's a ruddy nuisance the Germans are such reluctant supporters of the war, but maybe they will swing away from pacifism knowing that in the face of a man like Putin [or Hitler] you have no choice.
Here's the good news. If Ukraine has 100 modern tanks, it can do some real damage to the Russian army's defensive lines. And if they can be pushed out of eastern Ukraine, then Crimea can also be recovered. And that will be the end of the Great Russia plan.
