I re-watched a movie I have kept on Pete Maravich. I sent it to my grandson who is a sixth grader playing basketball on an 8th grade junior high team. He had to try out as did all the boys. He is on U-Tube. Its called "Ballers". Him and a friend do some wild stuff with basketball shots in the driveway at my daughter's home in Virginia Beach.

The kid can shoot.. The boys have a good following on Utube.

I know that there are more athletes who are non-white playing basketball and I think football as well. I do not know why. I never felt that the black students in my school were any better athleteticallythan I was or several other students who were ot white.

But you are correct about the proportion of kids playing..

I have no idea why that is...

...basketball is the sport of discrimination. There are no short fat white boys who can neither run jump or shoot. Do you think that is a coincidence?
