The dam seems to be breaking on sending western tanks to Ukraine.

Hearing that the Poles are going to send German Leopards. It is sounding like there's a coordinated, behind-the-scenes NATO decision to break that barrier.

We need to break the Russian army's will as well as its defences. They need to know they will lose. Tanks will help with that. 300 is the target number.

Oops.

Reports today that the UK may supply 10 Challenger 2 tanks to Ukraine. Those are proper tanks, not the sort of armoured vehicles being sent so far.

10 tanks won't change the war but maybe it will encourage others to send them. I think I read that Ukraine thinks they need 300. I wish we could send at least 30.
