Oops.

Reports today that the UK may supply 10 Challenger 2 tanks to Ukraine. Those are proper tanks, not the sort of armoured vehicles being sent so far.

10 tanks won't change the war but maybe it will encourage others to send them. I think I read that Ukraine thinks they need 300. I wish we could send at least 30.

I wasn't aware of that weapon.

But I have noticed that a lot of armoured equipment is moving into Ukraine right now from all sorts of countries.

Aside from the US, the Germans, French, Turks, Czechs, Poles and so on seem to be providing some formidable machines. The Germans seem gradually to be recognising that providing their tanks, which are apparently excellent, makes sense.

Another major offensive must be coming soon.

I have not seen that the UK is doing much in this regard. Perhaps this isn't a category we are strong in.
