I think as a royal, he's been used to getting away with anything. But now that he's in the political arena, people notice discrepancies.
My guess is he won't get another deal. It makes a media organisation look bad if it lets a liar lie. He's almost yesterday's news already.
How long will Meghan stick with him? Assuming she splits, as she has form, he'll collapse, because she gives him the confidence to reveal the arsehole he is. And he will find that no one wants anything to do with him when she's gone, taking the babies with her and the money.
That Meghan sure is a specialist in destroying family relationships. But she'll be fine, of course. He's her stepping stone to wherever she is heading.
