Good.

It's probably annoying to American companies, which are used to treating people as consumer buying units, but folks might want choices a little more refined than simply to use or not to use a service.

It's long overdue that online companies treat people as human beings. Governments can play a role in offering protections. Otherwise the internet will just reflect the manipulative ghastliness of commercial control of people's choices.
