The guy I remember thinking was about in the space I hoped to see the GOP return to was Larry Hogan.

But he wasn't where the GOP was going.

If Sununu is like him, great!

But I think the nutcasery needs to abate nationwide before they will choose someone sensible. It's still the conspiracy theory, magical solutions, end times party. Which is a shame because the Dems need a thoughtful GOP to keep them from veering wokewards.

A Republican option that I think could be broadly popular for 2024, NH Gov. Chris Sununu.

DeSantis won't sell nationwide, I think Sununu could.

He's conservative, yet not radical.

He's shown a spine calling out Trump at times, without being nasty.

He has a personality.

DeSantis is VOID of personality, he's a bully, and a wanna be dictator.
