Thinking about Ukraine soldiers.
Here we have pretty cold weather and fairly rickety old buildings, but indoors, with sweater and blankets, you aren't at great risk of getting frozen, even without heating.
But outdoors and 10 or 20 degrees colder, I wonder how a person survives without at least being inside a tent, where your body heat warms things a bit.
But maybe military clothing is enough. Just wondering out loud. I have a friend, a scientist who has visited the antarctic, with gloves that have batteries to keep his hands warm, so maybe a few of them have some of those.
