Numbers reported by Ukraine: 50 missiles. 44 shot down. Expensive effort for Putin. Ukraine is getting better at preventing them from reaching their target.

Russia was targeting civilian power and water infrastructure.

It's pretty much like the Blitz in WW2 (bombing of British cities in 1940 and 41), which, instead of breaking British will, did nothing but unify the British people. Putin seems a bit thick from a psychological perspective. He only has one trick. Bullying.

Sounds like Putin has used some of his strategic reserves of expensive missiles to take revenge on Ukraine for its damage to the Black Sea fleet.

Basically, this confirms that Ukraine did some serious damage to Russia's ships. And that Putin was enraged enough to use up some of the higher quality ammunition he has set aside for the defence of Russia itself.
