Of the top five, Braverman is a woman. In the cabinet, I think women are somewhat underrepresented. Roughly a quarter.

But as mentioned previously, I don't think the Conservative Party has the glass ceiling issue so obviously. It has been led by a woman for around 19 of the last 47 years. 3 of the last 7 Conservative prime ministers were women. In the contest Truss won, at least four of the prominent candidates were women. Yes, men are more heavily represented as party leaders and it may still be easier to get to the top as a man - I am an outsider so I don't have insight as to processes and prejudices. But it's clearly possible for anyone to rise to the top.

The opposition party has a woman in second position, so they may produce a woman PM soon too.

I hope a woman in the US succeeds in becoming president via an election soon. As long as she is a normal humanoid.
