Last point.

Top five positions in Britain's cabinet.

Rishi, PM, Indian ancestry

Raab, Deputy PM, Czech-Jewish ancestry

Hunt, Chancellor, Traditional Anglo-Saxon ancestry

Cleverly, Foreign Secretary, African ancestry

Braverman, Home Secretary, Indian ancestry

All equally British. No one here cares about their race. They care a lot about their politics and will be mean as hell about that!

It's basically the same assumption as Biden's. That somehow Britain is deeply divided by race.

It's not perfect here, of course. There are always issues. But it isn't helped when people make stuff up, because they wish to see and promote grievance in every direction.

There are people who are absolutely intent on making colonial history an issue. But there is also the awkward thing for such people that Britain is perfectly content to welcome a guy with Indian ancestors as PM. It doesn't fit their narrative to celebrate examples of inclusiveness, so they invent complaints that no one is making.

I think we've done okay on race in spite of so many people seeking to exploit the politics of victimhood. Not by listening to such people but by opening avenues and trusting ourselves mostly to do the right thing. The results aren't flawless, of course. That's being human.
