Obama is a terrific campaigner, one of the best!

Yesterday I was reflecting on his 8 years in office without any criminal lawsuits or drama.

He was a good president, not great.

He didn't spend enough time with other politicians, that's why Joe was so important as his veep.
Joe was connected to those in congress & could go and talk with them.

I think Bill Clinton was a great president.

He knew how to talk to people, he could feel their pain, and politicians, even after they impeached him.

He needed his ego stroked by women, that was his fault.
Yet times were good for Americans when he was in office.

Do something positive.

"Sometimes people just want to not feel as if they are walking on eggshells, and they want some acknowledgment that life is messy."

"I think where we get into trouble sometimes is where we try to suggest that some groups are more. . . because they historically have been victimised more, that somehow they have a status that’s different than other people and we’re going around scolding folks if they don’t use exactly the right phrase.

"Or that identity politics becomes the principal lens through which we view our various political challenges."

Yep. It's been said here too, so many times. If all you do is focus on identity politics, minority interests and complaints, and make your policies the expression of victimhood over striving, you lose the mainstream.
