BREAKING: Supreme Court rejects Trump request in dispute over Mar-a-Lago documents
The Supreme Court on Thursday handed former President Donald Trump a loss in his dispute with the Justice Department over documents seized from Mar-a-Lago, rejecting his request that a special master be allowed to review the classified papers. A lower court had ruled that classified information should be viewed only by those with a need to know it, but Trump’s lawyers countered that denying the special master access to the subset of seized papers would impede his overall review and erode public confidence in the justice system.
