There may be a second thrust towards Beryslav, opposite Nova Kakhovka.

If both are true, Ukrainian forces are attempting to encircle a large part of the Russian army west of the Dnieper/Dnipro.

Russia meanwhile is desperately trying to send 10k reinforcements across the river.

This may be the key battle for the south. The city of Kherson would be isolated.
