I watched the Arkansas/A&M game, and the Aggies aren't all that good. They're decent, but if Ewers was healthy at QB ... and the Longhorns and Aggies were to square off ... I'm confident we would win. Arkansas gave that game away. It happens. That's why you play the game and let the chips fall where they may.

in an upset by several accounts of the people who claim to know college futzball, A&M UPSET the Razorbacks.

I disagree with that as I fully expected A&M to beat them.

I knew it would be close but Jimbo has a good football team that is getting better each week.

Secondly, the Bearcats of cincinnati played Arkansas, at Arkansas in the opening game, got themselves into a big hole early and clawed back to lose by 7 . For a team that lost 39 players from last year and has a whole new bunch of players starting, inclusing a QB and new group of receivers and tailback and defense, I think they made a great showing against Arkansas. NOBODY until yesterday was as close to Arkansascin the score as Cincinnati until yesterday when A&M beat them.

Both Arkansas and A&M are good teams. Very good. They aren;t georgia and Bama good nor Ohio State or Michigan good, but still will beat most teams they play..

The Buckeyes last night just ripped Wisconsin a new one in the first 8 minutes of the game and never looked back.

The coach pulled the starters for the most part in the second half late to let the second team players get some playing time. I am laughing my butt off at the ESPN talking heads who thought Wisconsin was going to upset the Buckeyes in Columbus.

Of course, none of the egomaniacs will admit they were wrong and stuopid for even thinking it but it just demonstrates their bias against certain teams.

Alabama and Georgia remain the top two teams but it appears the Buckeyes may just be able to play with them should they meet in the playoffs. The Buckeye offense is something special.. They can beat you on the ground or thru the Air.. and they play good defense also.

Anyway, I enjoyed the games yesterday and I do not know if our resident Wizard will agree or not, but it looks to me like the better team in Texas might just be the Aggies even the the red raiders won their game against the Horns.
