If she dies, it will be interesting to see how our living constitution operates. Transfer of power is the obvious bit. But does it change the character of the nation to reflect the new sovereign and his ideas? I've no idea.

The bit I dislike in a constitutional monarchy is the deference. Very happy to have a monarch rather than a piece of paper. But I dislike the bowing and scraping that goes on. The monarchy is not the executive branch. It's the source of trust.

That's never happened.

Even Harry and Meghan are going. Probably bringing a camera crew. [scuse the cynicism]
