I would have agreed with you before the abortion thing. But these are not honest people.

Agreed on the delay side of things. And as the judge is plainly a Trump supporter, she'll doubtless collude in slowing things down. Why? Well, she'll say ex-presidents need a thorough process to be undertaken, which sounds sensible except that won't be her genuine intent.

The difficulty for the DOJ is that appealing is also a slow process. And that just takes them to another Trump-packed court.

Until the last month or so, I'd assumed US judges weren't a major issue. But the rot in America is everywhere. It's become a sad spectacle.

This might surprise you, I don't think SCOTUS will side with him on this, at least the majority won't.

But this is another delay tactic.
