I see the notion that Trump's attorneys are now also witnesses has reached twitter:

"Andrew Weissmann tells me Trump's lawyers are now "potential witnesses."

Weissmann says prosecutors can try to question Christina Bobb and Evan Corcoran on whether Trump authorized the statement misleading law enforcement about remaining documents."

Also means that attorney-client privilege has a soft edge. Here's an example of the crime-fraud exception. And if they take the fifth, the attorneys will lose their livelihood. So they will talk.

He's in such deep doodoo.

“The government also developed evidence that government records were likely concealed and removed from the Storage Room and that efforts were likely taken to obstruct the government’s investigation."

The attorney that certified that Trump had returned all of the documents that the archive requested is also bound to confirm that the newly discovered documents were concealed from him/her too.

So the AG will be looking for the person responsible for removing and hiding these other top secret documents. Who might that be, I wonder?

Forget the attorney-client privilege claims. Trump may win back a very small number of documents, although I doubt it. But he will be indicted for the hundreds of other documents he had stashed away, deliberately obstructing the government's attempts to recover them. This is theft and hiding of reams of national secrets for some probably nefarious purpose on an industrial scale. People end up in jail for this sort of thing for a long time.

Trump is in deep, deep doodoo.
