He's not shopping Trump. At least, not directly.

The scale of this doesn't sound like it is going to do any real damage to the company.

I wonder if this ruse would have even been discovered if he hadn't worked for Trump. Sounds like he buried in the company's expenses or charitable contributions where he thought no one would notice.

I'm guessing there was no audit, as it would surely have shown up there.

I doubt this brings down Trump unless there are bigger issues behind the curtain.
