It's also rather sad to see how many Americans have been seduced by brazen illegality. Is it just the money and power?

I don't see the GOP ideal. At least in the wingnut era, they had some sort of idea of what they wanted America to be. Now it's corruption all the way down.

while pretending he is doing the opposite.

There is obviously an immense amount of ugly information in what he was hiding. He's claiming everything from "it was planted" to "it is protected by executive privilege and attorney-client privilege". It's going to be interesting to find out what is in this criminal treasure trove.

I do hope his mob has learnt that violence for Trump doesn't work out so well for them. But maybe they need another reminder. Who knows?
