I think Biden was mocked for saying he thought the US was not in a recession in spite of a two quarter decline in GDP. These numbers suggest he may be right.
Our Bank of England thinks we are heading for a recession. Not sure whether they are particularly good at making predictions. They got Brexit horribly wrong. But anyway, that's their view.
