It's amazing how fast it happens.
To become a candidate, a member of parliament (MP) needs the support of 20 other MPs. That weeds out the nutcases.
Next step is to reduce the candidates to 2. Then the party's constituents choose one of the two and the chosen candidate becomes PM. It takes a month or two end to end.
No time for fundraising and that sort of malarkey. Not sure if there will be a national debate.
I wonder who will win.
I am told that parliament will probably not select either of the two I mentioned earlier because they haven't held a major office yet. I see why that makes sense.
