but I wonder if the farming market is not going to solve some of the problem of Ukrainian wheat shortages.
Around here, I am seeing wheat where there was no wheat in previous years. It's like living on a packet of weetabix. I walk the dog through one field of wheat about once a week. Last year, it had potatoes in it. Another neighbouring farm had corn last year, and this year it is also wheat. Luckily, our summer has been perfect for growing it and it's just going from green to gold.
I know the UK isn't big enough to make up for the loss of Ukrainian harvests. But I wonder if farmers all over the place aren't doing what the UK is.
