Faux_Clo > Slavery still exists, but in modern America, the word for it is HOUSEWIFE.


There have been reams of sit-coms reputing to show how much harder it is to be a house-wife than the working breadwinner for the house. . .

But sit-coms are not necessarily reality.

A house-wife is NOT a slave. A house-wife should be a co-equal partner in the marriage. However, there are some husbands with no financial sense - and in some of those cases the wife rules the roost and handles all the money. In other cases the woman is less bright than a box of rocks . . .

But, overall the institution of marriage has served the human race pretty well for several thousands of years.
