Follow-up to clo's earlier alert...

The case against him:

This is a criminal and not a civil case, so this isn't a money-motivated thing. The evidence must be strong for the police to take the case to court.

There seem to be more than one victim, so this may be a pattern of behaviour.

The case for him:

He isn't hiding from the case. He has volunteered to come to the UK to clear his name.

In the woke days we live in, allegations are sometimes based on regret (or self-righteous hindsight) and if that's the case here, hopefully the claims will fall apart under examination.

For me, the case has to be cut and dried. I like to think the courts allow a fairly broad range of non-criminal behaviours before they start to say, this was wrong.

People don't communicate well in real time and I think many times this is behind the different attitudes of the parties to a case.

As usual I plan to presume innocence unless the facts say otherwise. But if he's guilty, then he will have to be punished for what he did.
