Just as long and older life has moved on to a new destination thru what we call death,
my wife and I had the pleasure and joy of having my youngest daughter and her youngest son spend a few days here with the old folks..
My other daughter had a graduation party for my granddaughter the Softball player and so her younger sister the Attorney came up to spend time with the family..
It was awesome! Ya don't know how much you miss them until they are here a short time and then gone again..
I just returned from the airport dropping them off to go back home to Virginia Beach via Norfolk International airort.. Had an absolute wonderful time with little Drake playing riding around with him on my lawn tractor and let him steer, we went to the Cincinnati Zoo yesterday, and Saturday was the party . I picked up my daughter on Friday afternoon at the airport..
A great time together.. I do miss my kids and am so glad my oldest stayed close to home and both of her children are close to my wife and me..
Maybe sometime later this summer/fall we can go down to her house and spend a few days there...
I have a doctor appointment Wednesday morning early with a foot orthopedic doctor to see if he can find ouut what is wrong with my right foot and joint on the same leg that the hip was replaced and the knee is waiting its turn.
I am close to just cutting the thing off.. The hip is healing albeit it seems to be in slow motion, as it is still very sore and tender but I cannot walk normally and it kills my right foot and that bend joint..
What's up with that? IS the knee which is eaten up inside causing this as an alignment issue or is there something else wrong with the foot.. I don't know but I do need some answers. Busy week this week as my granddaughter the balllayer needs ME and Miz micro to take her to a Tournamnet in Columbus on Friday morning early, stay all day and drive back around 9: 30 that night for a couple hours in the blackness.
I can hardly wait.... Her parents are out west on vacation and just got there early this morning and won;t be hme until Sunday..
I guess its good to be needed but this kind of stuff is hard on someone my age and Ribit's.
