400 MILLION guns in the USA!

Maybe kids need to be armed to 'protect' themselves!

90 percent of Americans "support universal background checks" for gun purchases.

I have never felt such despair.

Not wanting to be rude, but not really.

The GOP will wait it out and Americans will forget, again. And SCOTUS will knock down any restriction that is attempted.

This piece of American culture and law is completely broken.

It's like the abortion conversation. Ring a Ring o' Roses. A weeping sore. A political system that doesn't allow evolution because it is bound up by so-called rights.

I accept there are two parts to the problem. 1. Guns. 2. Failure to treat mentally ill people sensibly. We share the second problem, but thank goodness, not the 1-2 combination that you have.
